Catalog Design Tips

catalogs stacked up 112 nov 07 150x150 Catalog Design TipsAre you in the process of designing a catalog for your business? If so, there are many tips that can help things come together sooner rather than later.

Rather than clutter your pages, opt for something simple. This may mean that you have to change your way of thinking, but in the long run you will be glad that you did. Pages with a simple layout and no clutter perform much better.

As you are writing your copy, make sure it is not “long winded.” If you bore your audience with too much text you are going to hold yourself back in more ways than one.

Every image has to be crystal clear – no exceptions. Using fuzzy images will drag down the quality of your catalog, while also putting off readers.

With these tips in mind you should be able to design and print the perfect catalog for your business.

Useful Tips for Online Catalogue Printing

Catalogues are beneficial marketing tools and when used strategically, they can be powerfully successful.  Not only do they display your products and services, but they also entice customers to buy or utilize your company.  Producing your catalogue online is beneficial, because not only is it convenient, but the quality will be exceptional.

The first factor to consider when having a catalogue produced is to consider what content you are including.  You should be sure to include information about your company, the list of services you provide and any other information your customer should have; contact details, address, shipping and handling.

Your customers will appreciate seeing unique images and premium quality.  Be sure to take good images of your products.  Not only will it be a professional representation of you company, but your customers will be better able to visualize themselves with the products and will make an easy decision to buy.  Also, consider the quality of the paper of the catalogue.  Plain paper is less expensive, but will rip or tear easier and your high quality colour images will not look as great on plain paper.  A glossy, good weighted paper is usually the best choice for catalogues.
